Der Kodokan-Vorstand hat entschieden, im Jahr 2021 keine Kodokan Open auszurichten. All das, was unser Turnier auszeichnet – internationale Kämpfe auf einem hohen Niveau mit einem Startfeld aus vielen Ländern Europas in lockerer, entspannter Atmosphäre auf der Matte und am Mattenrand – sind aufgrund der Corona-Pandemie nicht möglich.
Wir hoffen sehr, dass wir Anfang 2022 die nächsten Internationalen Kodokan Open in der gewohnten Form ausrichten können.

The Kodokan board has decided not to host a Kodokan Open tournament in 2021. All the things that characterize our tournament – international fights at a high level with a starting field from many European countries in a friendly atmosphere on and beside the tatami – are not possible due to the Corona pandemic.
We very much hope that we will be able to hold the next International Kodokan Open in the usual form at the beginning of 2022.
